Warshaw and Gregg (2006) described chronic diseases as illnesses that last a year or longer and necessitate continuing medical attention, impede everyday activities, or both. Most common chronic disease are heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

HOW CHRONIC DISEASE HAPPEN?

Chronic disease can be caused by a variety of factors, including excessive alcohol consumption, cigarette use, and secondhand smoke exposure, poor diet, and an insufficient physical activity.

Surgery, physical therapy, psychiatric therapy, and radiotherapy are all options for chronic illness treatment. Medication is, nevertheless, one of the most prevalent therapeutic options. (Sav et al., 2013)

We do not know what will happen to us in the future but we can prevent any harm by taking care of health with sufficient nutririon, adequate physical activity and other. As the saying goes 'prevent is better than cure'.
